Goodbye January, hello February! We are officially in the middle of winter and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. Here on the East Coast, we just had a huge snow storm. In some areas, the snowfall totals are around 24 inches! Figured this would be the perfect day to sit in bed, drink some hot tea and write this blog post about my winter neutral outfit with a pop of blue!
Outfit Details (Sweater, Jeans, Booties)
I wore a monochromatic white neutral outfit. Styling my white Express jeans with an off-white mock neck sweater. This sweater is so comfortable and cozy! I’ve been living in it most of this winter! It also goes so well with so many outfits- jeans, leggings, leather pants, skirts, etc. You can check out some of my previous posts and this sweater surely makes an appearance, not once but a few times! I purchased it from a local boutique Once Upon a Skirt, but I am linking a similar mock neck sweater from Express.
I decided to go with white booties for this outfit to create a true monochromatic look. These booties are from Burlington; however, I found the same and/or similar white booties on Amazon.
Accessories (belt, handbag)
I accessorized my neutral monochromatic outfit with a brown leather Gucci belt and a beige YSL camera bag. These are classic accessories that can make any outfit look and feel more designer. If you are looking for more affordable options, I found a belt on Amazon that resembles the Gucci belt. Additionally, this Amazon handbag totally resembles the YSL camera bag! These are cute more affordable alternative options that would look just as nice with this outfit but, for a fraction of the cost!
Outerwear (coat)
Lastly, I decided to style my neutral outfit with a light blue winter jacket. My husband purchased this sky blue jacket for me from Kittenish. It is warm, true to size and the color is a perfect light blue! Additionally, it is lined with cream sherpa lining on the inside.
I also found a few other options that would style well with this look. To make the outfit more casual, you can style it with this puffer jacket from Forever 21. On the other hand, if you want to make the outfit more dressy, you can style it with this coat from ASOS instead!
