Recently, I have been loving the color olive green in sweaters, shirts, pants, coats, etc. If it’s olive green, I will probably love it! I believe it is a great wintery color as it is not too dark and not too light. It can also be styled with dark colors, such as black, and light colors, such as white, cream, beige, and taupe.
Another fashion item I am currently loving is jogger pants. They are so comfortable and versatile as they can be styled dressy with heels and styled casually with sneakers. In this post, I will show you one way I styled my olive green jogger pants!
Outfit Details (Jogger Pants, Top, Pumps)
For this look, I wore olive green jogger pants that I once again purchased at a local Boutique, Once Upon a Skirt. I am linking a very similar option from Urban Outfitters to help you easily recreate this look! Based on the reviews, it seems like they are good quality joggers. They received 4.4 stars out of almost 300 reviews. I styled these olive green joggers with a black mock neck top that was just a bit cropped.
This time, I decided to make the outfit dressy so I put on a pair of studded black pumps. I purchased my pumps at a local Burlington store. When browsing through the store, they caught my eye as they reminded me of the Valentino pumps but for a small fraction of the cost! Valentino pumps cost about $1,000, these studded pumps cost me less than $50! A total steal if you ask me, and they are super comfortable! At this time, I cannot justify paying $1,000 for a pair of pumps, but hey, maybe one day. As the saying goes: “never say never!” I am linking Valentino pumps if you are in the mood to splurge on some gorgeous shoes and I am also linking similar, more affordable studded black pumps from Macy’s and Steve Madden.
Accessories (Necklace and Clutch)
I accessorized the outfit with a long gold chain necklace from Uncommon James. It is a gorgeous statement necklace that is most certainly eye-catching! It definitely makes any outfit look more dressy. I love how it stands out on this plain black mock neck top. A more affordable option would be this beautiful gold layered necklace from Lulus or this simple necklace from Amazon.
As for the bag, I decided to go with my classic Louis Vuitton clutch/pochette. Another gorgeous option would be the LV Pochette Orsay that comes with a detachable wrist strap. If you are looking for more affordable options, I found a bag that resembles the LV bags from Walmart. You can totally use the pouch that comes with the bag as a clutch! Additionally, I am linking a cute and super affordable clutch from Amazon that would match this outfit as well!
